Islamabad, Pakistan — 17 November 2025
Spectra Engineering Solutions (SES) participated in the Business Opportunities Seminar (BOS 2025) held at the Islamabad Marriott Hotel, a high-profile event jointly organized by four major Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs): the Asian Development Bank (ADB), World Bank Group, Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).
The seminar was hosted with the support of the Capacity Development Resource Center (CDRC) of ADB’s Pakistan Resident Mission (PRM), bringing together national and international consultants, contractors, suppliers, and development practitioners to explore the evolving landscape of MDB-financed project opportunities.
BOS 2025 served as a comprehensive platform for participants to gain insights into procurement procedures, consulting recruitment, engagement of NGOs and CSOs, and the overall project cycle of MDB-funded initiatives. Distinguished representatives, including Galiya Ismakova, Procurement Director at ADB, along with senior officials from the World Bank, IsDB, and AIIB, delivered technical sessions focused on transparency, competitiveness, and best practices in international procurement.
Representing SES, Nasir Ayub, Managing Director, attended the full-day seminar and engaged with sector experts on emerging opportunities in Pakistan’s infrastructure, energy, water resources, transport, and social sector development portfolios. The seminar highlighted strategic avenues for private-sector firms to participate in MDB projects and reinforced the value of compliance with global procurement standards.
“BOS 2025 offered a timely and highly informative forum, especially for firms operating in the development and infrastructure sectors. The insights shared on procurement reforms, FIDIC-aligned contracting, and competitive consulting opportunities will significantly support SES in strengthening its engagement with MDB-funded programs,” said Nasir Ayub.
Through participation in BOS 2025, Spectra Engineering Solutions reaffirms its commitment to contributing to high-quality, transparent, and sustainable development across Pakistan and the broader region.
