Introduction
Spectra Engineering Solutions (SES) has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing a Long-Term Agreement (LTA) to oversee construction supervision of a wide array of infrastructure projects across merged and settled districts in Pakistan. These projects encompass critical sectors, including healthcare, social services, drinking water supply, rural link roads, causeways, small bridges, irrigation channels, and various other vital infrastructure initiatives. SES is spearheading this transformation across merged dictricts in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including North Waziristan, South Waziristan, Kurram, Orakzai, and Khyber.
Project Purpose and Scope
This project is part of the Stabilization and Inclusive Development Programme (SIDP) initiated in May 2015. SIDP aims to empower vulnerable groups, including youth, women, and people with disabilities, by developing their skills and fostering social cohesion. Simultaneously, it enhances the business environment by providing technical support to public institutions, fostering private sector linkages, and exploring cross-border and regional development opportunities to contribute to economic growth.
Originally focused on relief and recovery, the program has transitioned to sustainable economic development, with a strong emphasis on youth employment and private sector engagement. SES will play a pivotal role in providing essential oversight and strategic guidance to the Stabilization and Inclusive Development Programme (SIDP).
